CanGames Poetry Slam

8 PM -10 PM Thursday May 17th

Take out your linguistic lightsabers and roll out critical verses like natural 20s for the first ever CanGames Poetry Slam. This geek-themed poetry competition, pits poet against poet in a 3 minute and 14 second performance. The geek-themed poem that will bring in the loudest applause will be the winner. No judges, just tricorder decibel readings to determine the winner of the Cangames Poetry Slam trophy!

Performer sign-up 7:30pm. There are only 12 spots available (first come, first served).

Come as a poet or spectator. Audience participation and costumes strongly encouraged.

This year's theme is "Flames Across the Border"
