There is a vendor marketplace, a full bar and a meal service on site. Join us May 17th to 19th for a weekend of friendly mayhem.
Our History
Established in 1977, CanGames is Canada’s longest-running gaming convention. Each year, hundreds of game enthusiasts meet in the Ottawa area over the course of a weekend … for fun and friendly competition. They play board games, collectible card games, miniatures games, and role-playing games.
Venue
Our Convention home is the Rideau Curling Club. Located at the corner of Cooper and Percy in Downtown Ottawa. Located 1 block from OC Transpo route 11 and 4 blocks from every East West route through downtown.
The parking onsite is limited but there is parking on street and at several local pay lots. Note that on street parking has a time limit in many zones so we recommend parking in the pay lots on Somerset west of Bronson which are all within 10 minutes walk of the site.
Short blocks from dozens of Pizza, Asian, and other restaurants. Three blocks from Tim Hortons and convenience stores and a nice selection of coffee shops
Comfortable seating and solid tables, round and rectangular for your playing and hosting games. Nice open gaming area for your in-between times and a wonderful assortment of easy to access vendors and exhibitors including the Cangames booth for your buying and selling needs.
We look forward to hosting you Friday through Sunday in our Cangames home the long weekend in May.
