While i have designed and implemented user interfaces, database access, and other software for over a decade, I currently work as a clerk.  My interests range widely, from SF books, to issues with urban layout and public (mass) transit, and problems with the environment — especially the recent concerns with global Climate Change.  I have a number of hobby projects which may improve software development; this includes the creation of a new programming language to handle multi-processing and distributed programming.  I am a long-time fan of “crayon-rail” board games.  I first played one in about 2009, and have been playing them [on and off, weekly or monthly] ever since.  I also enjoy other board games, including Dixit, Catan, and Stone Age.
