Attending CanGames
In order to play games, you need to purchase a badge and sign up to each individual game. Note that you only need a badge if you want to play an event, meaning you can be a Game Master or visit the vendors for free!
You can Preregister for games using the registration system online or at the convention at a price of $2 per event which will guarantee you a spot. You can also register for any game with space for free in the half-hour before that game.
Weekend Badge ($35 or $40)
Get a badge that allows you to register to play games throughout the convention in each of the 8 time slots. Most people choose this option and register online.
$35 online before May 1
$40 at the door.
Volunteer Badge (Free!)
You can get a free weekend badge if you are willing to help administer the convention and volunteer for at least 8 hours over the weekend. This also counts towards Ontario high school volunteer hours
Friday Only Badge ($15)
Get a badge that allows you to register to play games on Friday afternoon and evening.
Saturday Only Badge ($25)
Get a badge that allows you to register to play games on Saturday morning, afternoon, and evening.
Sunday Only Badge ($25)
Get a badge that allows you to register to play games on Sunday morning, afternoon, and evening.
Family Weekend Badge ($100)
The family badge is a special package that provides weekend badges for 2 adults and up to 3 young attendees in accordance with the Young Attendees policy. The price for all of the family’s badges is only $100.
